Security Dog First Aid courses from ProTrainings now approved by NASDU, The National Association of Security Dog Users. ProTrainings Europe are recommended by NASDU to provide Canine First Aid training for Security Dogs and Detection Dogs, having had the learning objectives contained in NASDU qualifications mapped against the learning outcomes. We have added a new date for Moving and Assisting of People Instructor of 4th and 5th July in our offices in Colchester. You will receive the Objects and People Instructor and the provider qualifications.

- Pet First Aid Instructor Thursday 9th June – To allow you to teach our Pet First Aid courses
- First Person On Scene Intermediate (FPOSi) June 27th to 1st July and September 12th to 16th.

We have added a new centre guide to help you use the instructor dashboard and you can download this from the instructor manual section of the instructor documents section. The idea of the guide is to help centres get the most out of the instructor dashboard. To download the manual, go to your instructor documents section and then the instructor manuals. We have new FPOS intermediate dates in Colchester. The course is £475 plus VAT and it can be used in place of the FAW for instructors for all qualifications. The course covers many advanced first aid practices and you will also be using our new QCPR manikins which give digital feedback on CPR and breath performance. We are nearing completion of a new feature so that day rate wrk can be easily added and applied for via your ProTrainings instructor dashboard. It will be an easy way of posting and accepting jobs online.Jobs you accept will be listed on your dashboard and there will be many other features including an optional text alert feature which you can upgrade to. To support our classroom, blended and video online courses we have added another student manual to show more about the human body. This book is a picture book with diagrams about different conditions and parts of the body. We have updated all first aid manuals to the latest 2015 guidelines and added more content to cover more subjects to support the courses. The non first aid manuals are also being updated and over half are now redesigned and updated. To download the manuals, for online, blended and classroom courses, login to your ProTrainings dashboard and you can download from there or from the instructor dashboard. More updates will be live soon to other manuals and slight changes to existing manuals.
Resuscitation Council 2015 recommendations we released last Thursday and we have studied the latest Resuscitation changes and are changing over to the new recommendations on our courses very soon. The recommendations on CPR change every five years. On the 15th October 2015, the European Resuscitation Council, ILCOR and UK Resuscitation Council announced the 2015 guidelines. Our training courses will shortly follow the ERC and UK 2015 recommendations to ensure the latest guidelines are including in our online and classroom courses.
When the rules change, its not that the old rules were wrong, it’s that better advice is now available to improve the survival rates for a patient and improving the understanding of what to do for the rescuer. Read the rest of this entry →
