Christmas office closing

ProTrainingsWe are closing for the Christmas break at 5pm on Thursday 22rd December and will be re-opening at 9am onTuesday 3rd January 2015. During this time we will not be available to answer phone calls or the online chat system and will have very limited access to emails.   You will be able to access your dashboard and courses as usual and all of our online courses will be available to purchase online as usual throughout the break.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and all of us at ProTrainings wish you a Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Colchester ConferenceWe would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that attended our season of training days and conferences in both Birmingham and Colchester.  Due to the exceptional amount of interest in the three conferences we held, an additional conference was organised in order to suffice. This is among the best turnouts we have had at our conferences with over 350 attendees in total! It was a pleasure to meet you all and we hoped you enjoyed them as much as we did.

We will be implementing many new features on the ProTrainings system over the coming months and expanding the number of online, classroom and blended courses available for instructors to offer. First Person On Scene Intermediate (FPOS-i) Course Date Set In April

Food Safety Level 3 Course Date Set

Food safetyWe have added another date for the food safety level 3 course in Colchester Essex on 21st and 22nd March.  The course requires some home study prior to the course then two days in the classroom.  This will also you to teach the level 1 and 2 ProTrainings Food Safety qualifications and regulated level 2 Food Safety qualifications (subject to approval).

Add a personal message to automatic emails from ProTrainings to students on upcoming courses

ProTrainingsAs requested by some instructors you can now add a personal message to your students for an upcoming course.  This message will go to the student before the course so you can add something personal about the course.  You do not have to do this but it makes your pre-course service a little better.  You can find this feature in the create classroom section of your ProTrainings Instructor dashboard.

Instructor Business Hint 14 – Keep up to Date

Keep up to dateAs an instructor it is vital that you keep up to date and you keep current.  The ProTrainings system will remind you of what you need to do and it will keep your Portfolio of Evidence up to date but you will need to check that you have added everything.  You can edit your portfolio to check that it includes all of your qualifications and experience.  Also you need to add manually any course you have delivered that is not certified through ProTrainings.  Keeping an up to date Portfolio is a requirement for all instructors.  Read the rest of this entry →
