New Lone Worker video online training launched

25 June 2013 in Health & Safety, Instructor, Online Training

New Lone Worker video online training launched at www.proloneworkers.co.uk Working alone is not in itself against the law, and it will often be safe to do so, however the law requires employers and others to think about and deal with any health and safety risks and or hazards of the work before people should be allowed to work alone. Employers have responsibility for the health, safety and welfare at work of all of their employees. They are also responsible for the health and safety of those affected by work activities, for example any self-employed people they engage and visitors such as contractors.

Lone worker training ensures that lone workers have knowledge to keep safe at work and employers understand their responsibilities.

New simple payments for course certificates

24 June 2013 in Classroom Training, Featured Articles, Fire Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, Instructor

New classroom handouts and materialWe have made it easier to buy certificate credits as you just top up your account with the money value you require.  For example a certificate costing £5 plus VAT you just buy 5 x £1 plus VAT.  This means that you no longer have to request transfers of certificate credits from one course to another.  You have two simple balances, one for ProTrainings credits and one for QCF credits.   All existing credits have automatically been added to your account balance.

If you have any questions, please contact us at support@protrainings.eu or phone 01206 805359.

QCF Certificate errors and lost certificates

17 June 2013 in Classroom Training, First Aid, Health & Safety

Please take care when registering QCF Student’s names onto the system to ensure that you have the correct spelling.  You should when the learner is on the course confirm the spelling and what name they want on the certificate.  We recommend always sending QCF certificates by recorded delivery to ensure they get where they are supposed to and they are then insured.  Replacement certificates have to be manually raised and replacements are charged by the Awarding Body.

Bulk upload courses dates from a single page, now available

9 March 2013 in Classroom Training, Featured Articles, First Aid, Health & Safety, Instructor, Pet First Aid

We have added a bulk dates upload when you create a classroom.  This allows you to either list all dates for the rest of the year or just select something like the first Tuesday of the month and it will create for the rest of the year.  You can also exclude dates like holidays or Christmas all from the one class creation page.  What we are needing centres to do is to create dates for the rest of the year for all courses, not just the workplace courses as this will increase the web presence and you will receive more bookings and enquiries. This feature will get more bookings on your courses but you have to list courses for it to work!
