Changes to class creations to make it easier

26 March 2014 in Classroom Training, QCF

Zemanta Related Posts ThumbnailTo reduce the risk of fines of £350.00 being charged to our centres we have added an extra option to the class creation feature.  This new feature provides you with the option to list courses and choose if the courses are going to be delivered at HABC Level when you create your classrooms.  All courses that are going to be delivered as HABC must be registered in advance, delivered as planned or cancelled in advance on the ProTrainings system.

All created classes will still be listed on the ProTrainings system whether they are HABC or not.  Please do not select the HABC option unless you are going to run the course as a HABC Qualification.  If you list a course and at a later date need to change it to a HABC qualification you can notify us in advance of the course date and we will register the course with the Awarding Organisation for you. Internal Quality Assurance

10 February 2014 in Classroom Training, Fire Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, Instructor, QCF

Zemanta Related Posts ThumbnailWe have received numerous emails promoting 1 day “IQA courses” from various Awarding Organisations reminding everyone that from 2015 all centres will need someone with an IQA qualification from 2015.   Please note that for all of you who are registered with ProTrainings this is NOT the case,  ProTrainings provide internal quality assurance on your behalf through fully qualified IQAs, saving you time and money.

Please be aware that this one day course they offer will not entitle you to act as an IQA for all accredited courses.  We offer the full IQA Award if you want the full qualification as a distance/blended course. Please call for more information.

ProTrainings sites are now all responsive and upgraded

22 December 2013 in Classroom Training, Featured Articles, Instructor, Online Training, QCF

responsive-screens.104338We’re excited to announce that ProTrainings sites are now responsive! Perhaps you’re asking yourself what that means. Over the past several months we have been designing & optimising a new site that will respond to the size of your device. This means that you and your employees / students will soon be able to train, test, and interact with a fully functional dashboard on a mobile phone, tablet, or desktop computer.

Over the past few years we have seen a significant increase in the number of people visiting our site using a mobile device. In fact, over a quarter of our traffic comes from mobile devices. Last month alone over 550 different devices were used to access our site. Our new site will ensure a user friendly experience regardless of the device one uses to interact with ProTrainings. We’ve worked hard to keep much of the functionality and layout of our dashboards the same to ensure a seamless transition to the new site.

You will see differences in the layout of the sites but everything is basically in the same place. When you login you click the home icon to access the instructor or company dashboards. If you have any questions contact us but remember we are closed till the 2nd Jan.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you in  2014. From all of us at ProTrainings Europe and ITG Instructor Training, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

ProTrainings now partner with HABC to offer more choice and better promotion

18 November 2013 in Classroom Training, Featured Articles, Fire Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, Instructor, QCF

ProTrainings are now working in partnership with Highfield HABC for QCF qualifications.  We made the decision to work with the largest Awarding Organisation for First Aid qualifications to help to reduce the paperwork, speed up certificate times and enable you to give your customers a certificate and wallet card for HABC courses.

All instructors who were already cleared, have been transferred so you do not need to do anything, courses that you list are not only advertised on the ProTrainings sites but are now also listed on the Highfield course finder site automatically (if they are marked as public).  Therefore doubling your exposure and providing more opportunities for potential customers to find your courses.

ProTrainings are the only organisation that offer you the choice of delivering a regulated qualification or ProTrainings Trade Body certificate, unlike other trade bodies our certificates are fully traceable and your customers can rest assured that the requirements for due diligence, quality assurance and verification are all met because all of our procedures and course materials meet requirements. All ProTrainings centres will still benefit from:-

Download all paperwork direct from the class

3 November 2013 in Classroom Training, Instructor, QCF

Zemanta Related Posts ThumbnailJust a quick message to remind all of our approved centres that the paperwork required for the courses and recently changed.  We have managed to reduce the amount of paperwork considerably but are aware that it isn’t that obvious where you need to look for the course assessment pack forms.

You can now download all  class paperwork direct from the class page on your instructor dashboard. We now have 3 buttons where you can download what you need from one place.

  1. Registration Forms – These self populate with class and instructor data. If you enter the students details to the class, this is also automatically produced giving you a professional preprinted form for your students to sign. Click this and print as many of the pages as you need
  2. Required Student Forms – These need to be printed, one per student and they include required paperwork like accident book exercise and course evaluations
  3. Course Forms – This is one per class and its the sign off form that you must complete Read the rest of this entry →

Bulk upload courses dates from a single page, now available

9 March 2013 in Classroom Training, Featured Articles, First Aid, Health & Safety, Instructor, Pet First Aid

We have added a bulk dates upload when you create a classroom.  This allows you to either list all dates for the rest of the year or just select something like the first Tuesday of the month and it will create for the rest of the year.  You can also exclude dates like holidays or Christmas all from the one class creation page.  What we are needing centres to do is to create dates for the rest of the year for all courses, not just the workplace courses as this will increase the web presence and you will receive more bookings and enquiries. This feature will get more bookings on your courses but you have to list courses for it to work!
