Your Blog

We have already created your blog and added an instruction video which will help you set the blog up.  You can go to your blog dashboard and change the theme to a different colour, add posts, add pages like online learning links or date pages.

Use your blog to give you a web presence so talk about towns and counties and use the “tags” when you create a post to put local information in on your courses so they come up on local search engines.  You can add a contact us page so people know how to find you.

Keep blogging to your potential and existing customers so they know whats happening and it means your blog will rate higher on our listings.

  1. This is my first blog as an itg instructor. Five weeks ago my husband and I attended the December course in colchester. Our business name is F-A-S-T (sw) we provide first aid cover for events such as private and corporate events, concerts, regattas, charity fundraisers, fireworks, christmas lights switch on and so on. We are based in Kingsbridge South Devon. This area is bursting with natural charming beaches unspoilt by pollution. Due to the fact that we are surrounded by water on three sides and the amount of holiday makers that visit the area having first aid skills is a must. So we attended the course to be able to train people so they can help save lives. http://www.firstaidsupportteam.co.uk

We are now concentrating on setting up the training centre, we have made a plan of action of how we are going to do this, so we are busy doing one thing at a time. The aftercare and support from itg is a cut above all its competitors, that is why we travelled all the way from Devon to attend their course in colchester.

  2. I launched my new website in the new year, http://www.inspire-firstaid.com. I have received a lot of intrest both locally and nationally. I offer a number of combined courses including a SIA Security package offering the Door Supervisor Level 2 Award and EFAW First Aid at Work course, and the Personal Licence holders plus EFAW, this is proving very popular.

I am now going to concentrate on developing further combined courses once I have assessed the demand. I am really enjoying offering package deals in a wide range of subjects, very enjoyable.

  3. Hi,
I have been training first aid for over a year now in UK. I recently decided to help out at a friends charity: My Life My Africa childrens foundation and carry out first aid workshops to train project leaders, teachers and locals first aid skills in a township called Zandspurit in Johannesburg. Check out the charity: http://www.mylifemyafrica.org/

It was very interesting experience and I learnt so much! I will update with photos and stories of my experience.

  4. Hey,
This is our first blog (still not too sure what we are doing, so please stay with us!) We trained as pet first aiders in March this year and have our first classroom course on June 17t Hatti and I have years experience with canine and small animals and both run Mutts, Moggs and More dog walking and pet care services. 3 years ago we both started training as animal behaviourists and have continued training both theoretically and practically , meeting new challenges with both humans and animals weeekly. We became pet first aiders for a few reasons, firstly because we are very passionate with animals and both have pets of a certain age and wanted to be prepared for any eventuality that may happen and be able to give them a qualitaly retirement, secondly as dog walkers and pet carers we feel that we have a resonability of care for our clients loved pets, which we care about as much as the owners. Will update with stories of first course and photos.
